A 600-year-old Grade II listed barn nestled on a working farm in Mid-Sussex, Chapel Barn is bursting with character and charm. With its vaulted ceilings, exposed oak beams and hand-built wooden bar, it creates an unforgettable impression, and is both relaxed and professional.

Outside, the beautifully maintained gardens and surrounding countryside offer an inspiring backdrop, perfect for breakout sessions, walking meetings or simply a breath of fresh air.

Whether you're working with an events agency, bringing in outside suppliers or managing everything in-house, we’ll ensure your plans run smoothly and the event hits the mark. Return visits, supplier coordination and walkthroughs are always welcome.

Chapel Barn is a fully licensed venue with a range of flexible set-up options. Whether you’re hosting a morning meeting followed by a networking lunch, a full-day strategy session, or an evening celebration, we can configure the space to suit your objectives.

With our experienced team on hand to assist with transitions between sessions—be it from conference to canapé hour or workshop to informal dining—you’re free to focus on what matters.

Bar service is run in-house with a fully stocked selection, and bespoke drink options are available, including local ales or pre-arranged welcome drinks.

 

CATERING

Exceptional food to fuel ideas

We believe that the food should be as memorable as the space. Our catering options are flexible, creative, and consistently high quality—ideal for corporate gatherings that deserve more than average.

Choose from crowd-pleasers like paella, tapas, BBQs, or opt for a more tailored menu designed to suit your event. Whether it’s a working lunch, relaxed dinner or energising snack bar, our experienced chefs can help design the perfect spread for your team and guests.

FAQs

What types of events can Chapel Barn host?

We welcome all kinds of events, from meetings and training days to networking receptions, product launches, and full-day team retreats.

 

Is there Wi-Fi available?

Yes, reliable Wi-Fi is available throughout the barn for presentations, hybrid meetings, and staying connected.

 

Can we bring our own AV equipment?

Yes. We provide basic AV, but you’re welcome to bring or hire any additional tech you require.

 

Can the space be configured for meetings or presentations?

Yes, the barn is a flexible space. We can help arrange different layouts- boardroom, theatre-style, café-style, or informal lounge set-ups.

 

Are there any restrictions we should be aware of?

We do not allow fireworks or open flames. Music must end by 11pm, and guests are asked to leave by midnight.

 

Can guests leave vehicles overnight?

Guests are welcome to leave cars in our on-site parking area overnight and collect them the following morning.

 

Do you offer on-site accommodation?

We don’t provide on-site accommodation, but are happy to recommend local hotels and B&Bs.

 

Can we visit before booking?

Of course. We encourage site visits! Please contact us to arrange a time.
